CG-F5 UV Printer FAQ

The CG-F5 is the best UV printer for cylindrical items because it combines advanced rotational jig technology with high-end industrial printheads. This allows for detailed 360-degree UV printing on round substrates without the massive footprint of industrial large format printers. As a UV printer machine, it uses instant-curing UV LED technology, meaning tumblers and bottles are dry and ready to ship the second they leave the machine. For businesses that need to produce custom tumblers, vinyl stickers, and small poster printing jobs, the CG-F5 offers the production capacity that standard digital printing equipment cannot match.

A flex printing machine uses solvent inks and is built for flat banners and signs. A UV cylinder printer like the CG-F5 prints directly onto round objects like tumblers, bottles, and mugs using UV curable ink that dries instantly. This makes it much better for custom merchandise and promotional products — things a flex printing machine simply cannot handle. If you need a roll to roll printer for banners, that is a different machine. The CG-F5 is your go-to for round items.

Yes. The CG-F5 works in two modes. In cylinder mode, it prints 360° around tumblers, bottles, and mugs. In flatbed mode, it prints on flat items like vinyl stickers, small signs, and decor pieces. This makes it a versatile UV printer machine that covers both round and flat printing needs — a great alternative to buying a separate UV flatbed printer for small jobs.

A UV cylinder printer is priced differently from a UV flatbed printer because it includes rotational jig technology for round objects. The CG-F5 suits custom merchandise like tumblers and bottles, while a flatbed handles large rigid boards. For commercial printers looking to add cylindrical printing, the CG-F5 is an affordable choice. Contact us for a current UV printer price quote.
